Glushu for Endurance.

Glushu are fast becoming the number 1 choice for Endurance riders. Thanks to their cushioned cuff they are protective on multiple terrains from snowy plains, to mountains to lakes. The ease of shoeing makes them easy to shoe on the go without the risk of injury from nails.

Big thanks to Endurance Rider Sien Buedts for this brilliant testimonial.

From Sien Buedts.

"Hi, my name is Sien. Together with my boyfriend, who is also a farrier, we have a little Arabian stud and training centre, Hadiyya Arabians, www.hadiyya-arabians.com

Within our midst we have a few endurance horses, one of them started his international career this year. El Shah Yum Yum is 13 years old Arabian stallion.

When we first began competing, we used Floating Boot training shoes. But as he progressed in the competitions, it was no use putting the shoes on and off every break. We then started looking for a longer lasting solution such as glue on horseshoes. We tried a few different brands but most of them didn’t keep up for more than 80km.

At the time I was studying to become a farrier. Glushu rep Sven Stolck visited the centre to give us some information about Glushu.

I was so impressed from the moment we began using Glushu. It takes a bit more time shoeing but Glushu is so much better then nailing holes into your horse.

In terms of Endurance performance, we have found Glushu have lasted more than 200km each time (depending on the surface of course). I also have never lost a Glushu during training or competitions. They are more stable than regular shoes because of the aluminium, I have never slipped with the Glushu.

I am so pleased with Glushu, my stallion is competing at CEI*100km without any problems of lost shoes!

I wholly recommend Glushu for any endurance riders.

Kind regards,

Sien."
